The New York Jets are facing a big question mark at right tackle with Max Mitchell's injury. Mitchell, who was taken by the Jets out of Louisiana in the fourth round of the 2022 draft, had been dealing with the shoulder injury early in the game before exiting in the second quarter per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
Mitchell's injury could be a big blow to the Jets, who are already thin at the tackle position. If Mitchell is unable to return, the Jets could be forced to start Cedric Ogbuehi at right tackle.
Ogbuehi has been a disappointment since signing with the Jets in 2022. He has struggled with injuries and has not been able to stay on the field. If Mitchell is unable to return, the Jets could be forced to turn to Ogbuehi, which would be a major concern.
