KDP Royalty Options
Amazon offers two ebook royalty plans: the 70% option and the 35% option. In both plans, your royalty cut is calculated as a percentage of your list price. For example, if you sell an ebook for \$9.99, your royalty would be \$7.00 under the 70% plan and \$3.50 under the 35% plan.
In addition to the 70% and 35% royalty plans, KDP also offers a fixed 60% royalty rate on paperbacks sold on Amazon.
To view your royalties, you can log into your KDP account and click on the "Reports" tab. Here, you will find a variety of reports that can show you your royalties earned in a given time period, as well as your previous months' sales transactions.
Understanding your royalties is important for managing your earnings and making informed decisions about your pricing and marketing strategies.
