Regular Season Record
The Tampa Bay Lightning finished the 2021-22 regular season with a record of 51-23-8, good for 110 points. They finished 3rd in the NHL Atlantic Division and 8th overall in the league. The Lightning were led by Nikita Kucherov, who scored 41 goals and added 85 assists. Andrei Vasilevskiy was outstanding in net, posting a 2.49 GAA and a .925 save percentage.
Playoff Run
The Lightning advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they were defeated by the Colorado Avalanche in six games. Despite the disappointing end to their season, the Lightning showed that they are still one of the best teams in the NHL.
